20 Best ‘The Little Prince’ Quotes

A rose by any other name…

In April of 1942, Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince) was first published. The now beloved novella was the work of the aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

The book is, ostensibly, a tale meant for children. It tells the story of (you guessed it) a little prince who lives on an asteroid. His only companion on the asteroid is a rose, who he dearly loves. When he learns the rose has lied to him, he decides to set out and explore new worlds in the hopes of making new friends. He does, and he learns an exceptional amount, and in the process makes amends with his beloved rose.
